Rates

Rates are dependent on the type of event which music is to be played for. For low-key, informal events rates start at $250.00 for four hours, formal events (weddings, corporate events, proms, formal dances, etc) start at $450.00 for four hours. Other charges apply dependent on additional services desired, distance to event, and etc., as detailed below.

Party Rate

This rate only applies to establishments with-in 35 miles of Litchfield, MN. Establishments outside of this area will require an additional fee to cover mileage and/or hotel stays. This rate applies to graduation parties, bars, night clubs, barn dances and other types of parties which do not require planning or high DJ interaction.

  • $250.00 for first four hours of music.
  • $50.00 per hour for each additional hour.
  • Mileage: No charge if within 35 miles of Litchfield, MN, $0.50 per mile per mile fee for each mile in excess of 35 miles
  • $50.00 additional charge if Karaoke is desired.

Note that this type of event does not include any pre-planning, I will entertain requests to add music not currently in my library but I reserve the right to not purchase it. Music selections are based on crowd requests/tastes. Non-refundable deposit of $100.00 required at time of booking remaining balance due at date of the show.

Formal Events

Below is a break-down of my rates, these rates include pre-event planning, setting up for your event (I require an hour to setup and take down) and time and costs associated with obtaining special music requests. This includes weddings, corporate events, proms, and other formal dances or events requiring high DJ interaction. Furthermore, I will make every attempt to obtain musical titles not currently in my library - provided I receive requests at least a week in advance and titles are legally available. Please scroll to the bottom of this page for a special note regarding benefit/fund raisers!

  • $450 for the first four hours of music (this is actual "play time")
  • $50 per hour for every additional hour with the exception of dinner music
  • $30 per hour for dinner music - musical list will be pre-determined an no requests will be served during this time.
  • Mileage: No charge if within 35 miles of Litchfield, MN, $0.50 per mile per mile fee for each mile in excess of 35 miles
  • $50.00 additional charge if Karaoke is desired.
  • Early set-up, $30.00 per hour - some clients prefer that the equipment be setup prior to their guest's arrival. If this is going to be more than one hour before the show then this fee applies.

Non-refundable deposit of $100.00 required at time of booking remaining balance due at date of the show. My rates also include time necessary to consult with you regarding your needs and the planning of your event. If possible I will meet with you in person otherwise we will coordinate via the phone and/or Internet.

Fundraisers/Benefit Dances

I am a strong believer in putting back into my community and assisting people and organizations in need. Therefore, for events in which funds are being raised for a specific purpose and/or organization I will make special allowances regarding my rates. Depending on the need I am willing to volunteer time, reduce my rate or work on a commission basis. With the commission basis my rate will be 25% of what your organization collects at the door but the maximum will not exceed my normal rates. Whether or not I will provide my services is strictly dependent on my sole discretion.
